El Mercado de Las Brujas de La Paz or “The Witches’ Market”. All sorts of potions, dried frogs & turtles, spells, amulets, talisman, etc. (together with the accessories necessary to make use of such products).
Most famous are the dried llama foetuses, often burried under the foundations of Bolivian houses as an offering to the goddess Pachamama (the earth/time mother). Known as cha’lla the sacrifice is meant to bring prosperity and good fortune to both those living there as well as the builders. No animals hurt in this practice as only stillborn or miscarried foetuses are used.
As a convenience you can buy “Spell Boxes” in a range of sizes, containing pre-made spells (free from the less pleasant objects and requiring no rituals).
The market is run by local witch doctors known as yatiri.
